England arrive in Kaliningrad as Gareth Southgate's side prepare for Group G decider
England have arrived in Kaliningrad ahead of their game against Belgium. Gareth Southgate's side are involved in a straight shoot-out with Belgium to take top spot in Group G. The teams are level on points with England possessing a goals scored advantage. The Three Lions have already secured a place in the knockout stages but know a draw or victory in Thursday night's game would earn them top spot.

England now travel to a city of ghosts and — it must be said — a place where that boorish song about ‘10 German bombers’ and the ‘RAF from England’ could hardly be more inappropriate.

Yes, we drank all the wine, but now I'm talking to you and I'm telling you the truth.'

Lionel Messi was under immense pressure from media and supporters in his homeland to deliver in Tuesday's clash with Argentina facing elimination from the World Cup at the group stages.

The Argentina star scored a stunning goal against Nigeria to break the deadlock - and open his account for the tournament - before Marcos Rojo bagged a late winner to book a spot in the last-16.
